Gardeners' king, king's gardener...

What you see below is a small collection of photographs made "raw around the edges" (= "rushes") during my umpteenth stroll(s) across that huge estate of  Versailles' castle and gardens, with a lot of mineral and plant sculptures, masterpieces by André Le Nôtre - along with some great architects and designers as Hardouin-Mansart, Le Brun among others - hidden to the common people for centuries.
