There are not hundred ways of discovering the intimacy of a city. For my part, I only know the strolls. The weather was not very exciting on that afternoon; anyway, I decided to walk along the river Seine from the Eiffel Tower towards the cathedral Notre-Dame. Suddenly I discovered an incredible alignment of mascarons that you would never find in any tourist guide. The following is just representing the tenth? the fifteenth? or more? of the whole series. The fact is that given the drizzle I didn't manage to count nor photograph them all! Work in progress...
